Introduction to Audio Rhetoric

This lesson is a standalone lesson, but could easily be integrated into a larger unit on rhetorical analysis or multimodal composition. It was designed for use in an 10th grade English Language Arts class to supplement student understanding of and flexibility with basic rhetorical analysis skills. This lesson could also be adapted to suit students working towards more sophisticated rhetorical analysis skills like those practiced in an 11th grade AP Language and Composition class.
